Trailer of South Indian superstar Mohanlal’s much awaited release ‘Drishyam-2’ was released by Amazon Prime Video on Saturday, two days before its original launch date.
Sharing it on Twitter, the OTT platform wrote,
Unlock a new chapter in the life of Georgekutty and his family.”
The trailer, which was scheduled to release on Monday, was dropped two days earlier due to a reported leak.
Lead actor Mohanlal also took to Twitter to share the trailer, which has already garnered more than 1 million views on YouTube.
The trailer shared by Amazon gives a sneak peek into the life of protagonist George Kutty.
‘Drishyam-2’ , which is the sequel of 2013-release ‘Drishyam’ will take the audience through how the family is coping with the fall-out after the fateful night when their lives changed.
The Malayam thriller is written and directed by Jeetu Joseph, and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
Along with Mohanlal, it also features Meena Siddique, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy, Ansiba, Esther, and Saikumar in significant roles.

The Malayalam thriller will be released on Amazon Prime Video February 19.
