Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the 82nd edition of his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday, October 24, 2021. The programme will be broadcast on the entire network of All India Radio and Doordarshan. It will also be available on AIR News and the mobile app.
The Prime Minister, who usually invites suggestions for his monthly programme from the listeners, invited ideas this time as well. The address will begin at 11 am.
As India just reached the 1 billion COVID-19 vaccination milestone, the Prime Minister is likely to congratulate all the frontline workers and citizens on the achievement and is expected to introduce the next foot forward.
PM Modi might also address the need to follow and regard the COVID-19 protocols more than ever now as the festive season has set foot in the country.
Apart from that, PM Narendra Modi is expected to talk about rising pollution levels and climate change issues a the global attention drives towards ‘zero carbon emission’. PM Modi will also be attending the COP26 climate change conference in the coming days to share India’s blueprint for the carbon emission reduction goal, so announcements in this arena are likely.
The Prime Minister may also introduce the country to some of the community influencers and workers who have been working towards the climate change degradation issue.
In his last ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address, PM Modi addressed water scarcity issues in India and talked about two of the most adversely impacted state by the crisis, his US visit, where the Biden administration offered India to take back some of its antiques and
urged the nation to adopt ‘Swacchta and Khadi’, two ideals of Mahatama Gandhi ahead of the Gandhi Jayanti.
