Meghan has actually contributed towards the editing of the pictures but her fans are just not having it. Many believe that the photoshoot has completely downplayed the black woman’s pictorial representation.

Her fans have made their unsatisfaction heard on Twitter.

The photographer, Collier Schorr’s ideas for Stallion’s looks are being called boring and bland. Even though the rapper was styled by the hotshot Samira Nasr.

The photographer captioned her post with, “A most remarkable experience making pictures with Megan Thee Stallion who discussed each picture and edited afterwards with me. In charge of her self❤️Total collaboration as it should be to make together new images of her at this moment in her life. The styling by @samiranasr allowed for all the play and exploration. Grateful to work this way. Sharing visions @harpersbazaarus@lauragenninger@kellonderycksalon@priscillaono@maximjezek”

The rapper herself seems to like the minimalistic look on herself and “getting more comfortable” in her skin.

Fans feel that black artists have been profiled in a certain subdued look and such photoshoots seem to enable such problematic systems. If there is a fault in the system, it needs to be called out.
