Marcus Stoinis went berserk and scored his second half-century of IPL 2020, this time hammering the Royal Challengers Bangalore with boundaries all around the park.

Stoinis is not known as an angry cricketer who preys and then feeds on bowlers. However, after being hit by a 146 kmph beamer off Navdeep Saini, Stoinis couldn’t control himself and butchered the youngster for not apologising. Saini got a warning and typically had to repay with a free-hit. But the Aussie all-rounder did not only slash the bonus delivery for a boundary but the very next ball glided over the ropes.

Marcus Stoinis scored 17 runs off the Saini over, during which he was dropped by Yuzvendra Chahal. Navdeep Saini’s next over fetched 18 runs for the DC. Marcus, who was a part of Bangalore last year, stayed deep in the crease and waited for the pacers bowl right in his areas and then smack them at will.

On the other side, Rishabh Pant started slow, scored 14 runs off the first 16 deliveries he played. But watching Stoinis party alone seemed unfair as Rishabh decided to take part in the clobbering. The Delhi wicketkeeper-batsman scored 37 off 25 balls, Mohammed Siraj dismissing him in the 19th over.

Delhi Capitals were struggling at 94-3 after 12 overs but Stoinis along with Pant scored 67 in the next 24 balls. The duo stitched an 89-run partnership to help Delhi Capitals post 196/4 in 20 overs.
