Billionaire businessmen Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, who’re flip-flopping for the position of the world’s richest man have often publically criticised each other over business ventures. While the Tesla chief has called Amazon a “monopoly”, Bezos called out Musk’s ambition of sending humans to space. “Go live on the top of Mount Everest for a year first, and see if you like it,” he had said.

In a latest, Bezos-owned The Washington Post published a report that Musk’s travel schedule, personal life and focus on his space company, SpaceX, was affecting Tesla. For the report, the newspaper said it interviewed a dozen current and former Tesla employees, investors, and analysts.

The Post also sought Musk’s response.

“Give my regards to your puppet master,” the Tesla chief replied.

The remark appeared to be about Bezos’ ownership of the newspaper.

The Amazon chief had bought the 150-year-old newspaper in 2013 and since then, both have claimed that he has no influence on editorial decisions.

But the reiterated claim hasn’t been able to stop criticism.
