The full dress rehearsal for Republic Day will begin at 9.50 am on Saturday, ANI reported quoting a statement released by the Delhi Traffic Police. The parade rehearsal will begin from Vijay Chowk and will proceed to National Stadium.
Hence, no traffic is allowed on Vijay Chowk till the parade rehearsal is over. Traffic is also restricted on Rajpath intersections at Rafi Marg, Janpath, Mansingh Road.
C Hexagon-India Gate is closed for traffic from 9.15 am till the entire parade and tableau reach the National Stadium.
The Delhi Traffic Police, in its statement, enlisted alternate traffic routes. For eg if one wants to go from north to south and vice-versa, he/she can take the following route: Ring Road-Ashram Chowk-Sarai Kale Khan-IP Flyover-Rajghat; Aurobindo Marg-AIIMS Chowk, Ring Road Dhaula Kuan, Vande Mataram Marg.

Movement of city buses has been curtailed at Shivaji Stadium, ISBT Sarai Kale Khan, Kamla Market, Delhi Sachivalaya (IGI Stadium), Pragati Maidan (Bhairon Road), Hanuman Mandir (Yamuna Bazaar), Mori Gate and ISBT Kashmir Gate.
Metro services will remain available at all stations. But boarding and de-boarding will be prohibited at Kendriya Sachivalaya and Udyog Bhawan from 5 am till 12 pm on Saturday.
