Actor Shahid Kapoor recently took to Instagram to wish director Ali Abbas Zafar a happy birthday, only to get “scolded” by Zafar.
The actor shared a behind-the-scenes snippet of himself and Zafar from the sets of their upcoming film, ‘Well Done’.
Kapoor wrote, “Happy happy birthday. Love you loads brother… can’t wait to see you on set”.
The picture shows a glimpse of the duo from the back, looking at each other. The ‘Kabir Singh’ star is seen sporting a bearded look with a white shirt
Ali Abbas Zafar, who turned 40 today, then took to his Instagram handle, responding with, “Thank you @shahidkapoor. Look out kar diya (You revealed the look)… #Welldone.”
‘Well Done’ is an upcoming action-drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. According to ANI, the film is said to be a Hindi remake of the 2011 French film ‘Nuit Blanche’. The film has a Telugu and Tamil adaptation as well.
The shoot began back in November 2021, when the actor took to Instagram to share a snippet from the first day of filming. He wrote, “Day 1. Blood…Crime…And Lots of action. Here we go.. @aliabbaszafar better get your game face on.”
Zafar also took to social media and shared the announcement through a post with the caption, “Let’s get this started @shahidkapoor are you ready for a crazy, quirky, mad ride of guns & gangs.”

Actor Katrina Kaif also wished the filmmaker and posted old photos of herself and Zafar on her Instagram stories. After captioning the photos as “Dear buddy…it’s your birthday @aliabbaszafar”, Zafar soon cheekily responded with “Yes it’s my birthday, where is my gift?”

The duo has been a part of various films including Tiger Zinda Hai, Bharat and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. According to reports, the duo will soon collaborate again on a solo superhero film.
On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in the 2022 film, ‘Bull’ and ‘Jersey’.
