The basic idea is to honour the valour and courage of Ukraine’s president, who turned down a US offer to flee war-torn Ukraine. Zelensky stated that he does not require a free ride, but rather an ammunition. “This demonstrates his character,” Baruah told PTI.

The founder of Aromica Tea was impressed by the Ukrainian President’s refusal to accept the US government’s offer to evacuate him as Russia attacked his country.

“We’re attempting to draw a parallel between his character and valour and that of Assam tea,” Baruah explained stating that the tea aims to send the message that peace, not war, should be discussed over a cup of strong black Assam tea.

On Wednesday, Aromica Tea’s website launched the Zelensky tea. It will be available on e-commerce platforms in the near future.
