As the festive season approaches, Hyundai India launched the next-generation i20 on Thursday in India, with introductory prices starting at Rs 6,79,900. 

The third-gen Hyundai i20 is offered in four variants, namely Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O) and in 3 engine options, reported carandbike.com.

The company began bookings for the model last week for an amount of Rs 21,000, while deliveries are scheduled to start soon. To date, it has received more than 10,000 bookings from customers across the country.

The 2020 Hyundai i20 is available in eight-colours – Polar White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Starry Night, Metallic Copper, Polar White with Black Roof, and Fiery Red with Black Roof.

It has a range of powertrain options comprising a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission or an IVT unit, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol motor paired to a six-speed iMT unit and a seven-speed DCT unit. Moreover, offer includes a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired to a six-speed manual unit. In a first, the model comes with sunroof as well.

The starting ex-showroom prices are considerable for deliveries till December 31, 2020. The variant-wise ex-showroom prices of different engines are as follows:
