The Indian stock market is set to begin on a cautious note though the SGX Nifty indicates a 48-point drop for the index in India. On October 26, the BSE Sensex jumped 383.21 points, or 0.63 percent, to 61,350.26, while the Nifty gained 143 points, or 0.79 percent, to 18,268.40. All sectoral indexes finished higher, with auto, infra, and metal indices up 1-2.5 percent.
