During the quarter, revenue increased by 4.5% year on year to Rs 3,175.4 crore, with topline growth of 4% in constant currency, aided by India branded business. Sivakumar Sivasankaran has been named as the company’s Chief Financial Officer, India, and senior managerial staff, succeeding John Jacob, who is retiring from the company’s services.

SIS

The company reported a consolidated profit of Rs 97.4 crore for the quarter ending March 2022, a 4.7% decrease from the previous year’s period due to a moderate increase in EBITDA and a steep decrease in other income. In Q4FY22, revenue climbed by 8.3% year on year to Rs 2,648 crore, and EBITDA improved by 0.9% to Rs 124.4 crore, while the firm exceeded Rs 10,000 crore on a full-year basis for the very first time in its history.

EIH Limited

ABB India 

The firm achieved great success in the fiscal quarter ending March 2022, with profit increasing 145% year on year to Rs 370 crore due to excellent topline and operating performance. Revenue increased by 21% year on year to Rs 1,968 crore in the first quarter of 2022. In Q1CY22, the business received orders worth Rs 2,291 crore, a 25.5% increase year on year.

State Bank of India

Havells India 

The electrical equipment maker increased its profit by 16% year on year to Rs 352.48 crore in Q4FY22, owing to decreased tax costs and greater topline. When compared to the same time the previous year, revenue jumped by 33% to Rs 4,426.3 crore.

According to a BSE filing, the road project ‘four laning of Sangli-Solapur portion of NH-166’ in Maharashtra on Hybrid Annuity Mode’ has been completed temporarily. The Adani Group recorded a 44% year-on-year drop in consolidated profit at Rs 81 crore in the quarter ended March 2022, owing to rising natural gas prices. However, revenue increased by 73% year on year to Rs 1,065.5 crore during the quarter due to increased volume and sales price.

Kotak Mahindra Bank

The bank has reported a rise of 64.49% in its net profit at Rs 2,767.40 crore for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022, as compared to Rs 1,682.37 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the bank increased by 11.81% to Rs 8,892.26 crore for Q4FY22 as compared to Rs 7,953.12 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

CarTrade Tech 

The firm reported a loss of Rs 21.39 crore for the quarter ending March 2022, compared to a profit of Rs 15.95 crore in the same period the previous year, as well as an EBITDA loss of Rs 25.94 crore, compared to an EBITDA profit of Rs 15.95 crore in the same period last year. During the same time period, revenue increased by 13.4% to Rs 93.1 crore.
