Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Friday got dismissed against England in the ongoing T20I series without scoring a single run. Taking Kohli’s dismissal as an example, the Uttarakhand Police raised driving awareness. 

In the match against England on Friday, Kohli got caught by Chris Jordan off Adil Rashid’s ball in the third over with which India’s score was diminished to 3/2. The batsman was trying to add some quick runs to the scoreboard, because of which he got dismissed.

Uttarakhand Police took it to their Twitter handle and wrote a Hindi caption saying, “A helmet is not enough! It is necessary to drive in full consciousness, Otherwise, like Kohli, you too can get out on zero.”

England won comfortably with eight wickets in hand in the first T20I at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday. The away team gave an all-round performance and outplayed the Indian team.

With Friday night’s victory, England lead with 1-0 tally in the five-match T20I series against India. Shreyas Iyer scored a sensational half-century with 67 runs but England kept taking wickets in regular intervals to restrict the home team to 124/7. The openers from England also played well with Jason Roy, who scored 49 runs. Roy and Jos Buttler kept hitting boundaries to chase the score with 27 balls remaining.
