People on the internet are having a hard time coming to grips with reality after watching a viral optical illusion video. The act shown in the video, named ‘The Real Thing’, involves Coca-Cola cans and a mirror.

This
act was performed by a British man Matt Pritchard. Pritchard calls the act ‘The Real Thing’. As the act
unfolds, a person picks up the can and throws it into the mirror. You will later
realize that there are two Coca-Cola cans and the mirror turns out to be a
frame made out of cardboard.

Pritchard
later simplifies the phenomenon by explaining how the background creates symmetry
that looks exactly like a mirror. He uses a yellow background to support his argument
and then later uses a normal background.
