Indian captain Virat Kohli on Thursday added another feather
to his cap, as after the unexpected third Test win against England, he became
the Indian captain with most number of Test wins at home. India recorded one of
the quickest victories in world cricket, with the match being finished off
within two days of play.

Kohli now has a total of 22 victories after having played 29
Tests as the skipper, one-upping Dhoni, who had 21 victories in 30 Test matches,
as per various media reports.

Previous captains such as Sourav Ganguly and Mohammed
Azharuddin have 21 and 24 victories respectively to their name.

Since making his captaincy debut in 2013, Kohli has won 63
out of a total of 92 matches, with a win percentage of 70.55%, as per statistics
from ESPNcricinfo.

The third Test was particularly rushed, as the Motera pitch
in Ahmedabad assisted spinners from both sides. While Axar Patel and
Ravichandran Ashwin became the leading wicket takers for India, left-arm spinner
Jack Leach and captain Joe Root shined for England.
