Kirti Kulhari is a Bollywood actor, who recently announced her separation from husband Saahil Sehgal. The 35-year-old actor has starred in several commercially successful films, including ‘Pink’, ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ and ‘Mission Mangal’. She is also one of the lead actors of the popular web series ‘Four More Shots Please!’

Taking to Instagram, Kirti on Thursday said her decision to separate from Saahil, also an actor, is ‘not on paper, but in life.’ She penned a long note to address her “painful” situation and said she will not comment on it further.

The model-turned-actor began her career with theatre and television advertisements. According to media reports, she has been the face of many popular commercials, such as Taj Mahal Tea, Travel Guru, Parachute Gorgeous Hamesha Campaign, ICICI Bank, Close-up, Everyuth Face Wash and more.

Kirti debuted as an actor with the Odia film ‘Dharini’ in 2002. Her first Hindi film was ‘Khichdi: The Movie’ in 2010 followed by ‘Shaitaan’ in 2011. She was last seen in ‘The Girl On The Train’, alongside Parineeti Chopra.

The actor has worked with many Bollywood superstars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgn and Aditi Rao Hydari. 

She won the Special Jury Award at Jagran Film Festival for her role in ‘Pink’ and Best Actress in a Short Film at 64th Filmfare Awards for ‘Maya’.
