In a recent tweet posted on February 4, BTS’s V, or Kim Taehyung, revealed why he keeps deleting his Instagram stories. He also promised his fans that he will try not to do it in the future.

BTS made their Instagram debut back in December 2021. However, Kim Taehyung often deletes his photos just a few minutes after posting them. V’s fans asked himwhy he does it on Korean web platform and app ‘WeVerse’. They wrote: “Taehyung-ah, why do you keep deleting your Instagram stories? Is it because you’re not the same person you were 5 minutes ago? Lol.”

The South Korean singer posed another question in response, “Why shouldn’t I delete it?”

Kim Taehyung later revealed that the real reason why he deletes pictures is that he often feels like changing the old stories into something new, every time he enters the Instagram story section. However, on finding nothing new to upload, he ends up deleting his stories. He added that there isn’t any specific reason behind him deleting the photos. V also promised his fans that he’ll try not to delete what he posts anymore. He wrote, “It doesn’t really have a meaning lol. If you’d like, I’ll try not to delete it.”

BTS Army also reacted to V’s statement on their twitter handle. The comment section flooded with concerns and opinions. While some argued that it was his personal page and that he can do whatever he wants with it, some expressed how glad they were with his promise.

BTS members, RM, Jin,Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook had collectively joined Instagram last year after announcing that they will be taking a vacation to spend time with their families. The statement also added that the crew will focus on their preparations for their upcoming in-person concert in March in Seoul.
