Celebrity fitness coach Namrata Purohit often shares videos of exercises that focus on different body parts and help people to follow a healthy lifestyle. She recently shared a video of herself performing a Pilates exercise called Rollover and Teaser combination. Janhvi asked the coach if she can do the exercise too.

On Saturday Namrata took to her Instagram and shared a video and wrote, “Roll Over + teaser combination on the stability chair! you can try it on the mat too.” For the uninitiated, Roll Over and Teaser are both classic Pilates routines.

After she shared the video Janhvi commented on the post and asked, “Can I do this?” Namrata replied, “Janhvi Kapoor yes! You can…just hands down by your side, not overhead.”

In the video, Namrata is seen starting her training by performing the Roll Over exercise, which involves raising her leg up and over her head while keeping her hands held firmly on the stability chair and then lowering her legs parallel to the ground, spread apart. She did the Teaser exercise after the Roll Over. Namrata folded her knees near her chest, pushed her body forward at a 45-degree angle, and placed her palms near her ankles. Then she relaxed back on the yoga mat, forming a V with her body.

Benefits of Roll Over exercise: 

Roll over-exercise offers the back and hamstrings a good stretch, works the abdominal muscles hard, and promotes spine flexibility. It also relaxes the nervous system and promotes a healthy sleeping pattern.

Benefits of Teaser exercise: 

Because it engages the entire core and back to hold the body upright in a V position, the teaser exercise is beneficial for balance, flexibility, and spinal mobility. It works particularly well on the external obliques, rectus abdominis, and hip flexors.
