Call it golgappa, pani-puri or phuchka, this is the one delicacy that nobody can resist. This woman, however, has taken her love for the dish to another level. Pani-puri was part of her bridal make-up! In a video, which has gone viral on social media, a woman from Tamil Nadu was seen wearing a garland made with golgappas.
The video was shared on Instagram by user @arthibalajimakeoverstyles, who is a make-up artist for the bride. In the short clip, the bride was wearing a garland made of golgappas. And if that wasn’t enough, a bunch was stacked in front of her as well. In the video, A relative was also seen keeping a crown made of golgappas on her head. The bride with golgappa jewellery posed for the camera.

The video has so far gathered over 128k likes since the time it was shared.
A ritual or the love for pani puri, the golgappa jewellery became an instant hit on Instagram with users tagging their pani puri loving friends. “Dream marriage,” wrote one user in the comments section, while another said, “perfect for panipuri lover.”

Akshaya, in another video, was seen sitting with a pile of rice papads on her head. A man then crushed those papads on her in what seemed to be another wedding ritual.
This video, however, did not go down well with a few users, who pointed out that “why waste food?”. A user from Kerala was quick to respond explaining the ritual. “It’s a traditional rasam / culture food / papad used in this will be given to cow,” the user said.
