A video showing a puppy crashing a high school relay race and winning it eventually has gone viral. A pet dog, named Holly, not only did outrun the participants but also left social media in splits.

The video of the race was quite normal until the last turn when the dog joined. Within moments of joining the race, the puppy overtook one participant at a time to be the first one to cross the line. The crowd cheered for Holly, making the video even more hilarious. The dog reportedly had gotten loose from her parents.

“At the Grizzly Invitational, a puppy hopped in to spice up the varsity girls 4x200m relay!” reads the caption shared along with the video on a YouTube channel.

Gracie Laney, the human winner of the race told KSL TV, “At first, I thought it was another runner and I was surprised because we had a pretty good lead. As it got closer, I thought, ‘That’s too small to be a person,’ and then I noticed it was a dog.”

The clip has accumulated more than 7.1 lakh views. “That dog literally slowed down at the end to stare down his opponent and then cut her off at the line to almost making her trip! That dog is cold-blooded,” a social media user commented. “Dog: What? You call that racing? Hold my sausage,” shared another.
