It is one of the greatest mysteries of our time, tormenting even the best detectives.

Many people have claimed to have found Satoshi Nakamato’s identity in the past, only to admit defeat.

Elon Musk, the mercurial CEO of Tesla – Get Tesla Inc Report and SpaceX, has reignited the rumours and reactivated all the internet’s amateur investigators.
As a result, the billionaire shared a meme from a Medium piece from November 2017 on his Twitter account on Wednesday.
This meme demonstrates that the alias ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’ is an amalgamation of letters from four electronic company names: Samsung, Toshiba, Nakamichi, and Motorola.

Musk adds no words and does not specify the message he wishes to convey. As a result, we are left to conjecture.
The pseudonym was most likely chosen by someone or a group of persons who wanted to remain entirely anonymous. The four corporations developed a person or group of persons who most likely do not want to be found, or Satoshi Nakamoto. In a nutshell, Musk’s tweet resurrects all conspiracy ideas.
At the time of writing, the message sent to its more than 77.2 million followers had already received over 600,000 likes.

During the process, Musk elicited reactions from his fans as well as crypto industry luminaries. Musk, it should be noted, is one of the crypto’s ardent supporters. He is especially fond of the meme coin dogecoin, which Tesla accepts as payment for merchandise. As of December 31, Tesla has $1.99 billion in bitcoin on its balance sheet.
“If you look hard enough, you will see Satoshi Nakamoto everywhere,” commented billionaire Michael Saylor, a bitcoin investor.
“woa the creator of bitcoin is half Japanese, a quarter Korean and a quarter American,” exclaimed Billy Markus, the creator of dogecoin.
Yossef, a web developer wrote, “Yes Elon, we know you are Satoshi. You shared that idea while at PayPal, but it was disregarded by mgmt. So, you open sourced it anonymously. Congrats, you’re no longer anon.”
Musk has previously denied being the inventor of bitcoin.
“Not true. A friend sent me part of a BTC a few years, but I don’t know where it is,” he tweeted in 2017.
Musk, however, has never said a word about another theory that he is friends and knows the real Nakamato. This theory is often accompanied by this photo, which was again posted by a user who was commenting on his last tweet.
“Elon, is this you and Satoshi Nakamoto?” asked the user.
This old photograph was included in Ashlee Vance’s biography “Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future.” Musk is pictured in the early 1990s at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. According to the book, the second individual in the shot is most likely Navaid Farooq, one of Musk’s undergraduate pals.

While we wait for an explanation, we must agree that Musk appears to be preoccupied with the identity of bitcoin’s founder(s). Last year, the world’s richest man accused Nick Szabo, the computer scientist behind the smart contracts at the heart of decentralised finance, of fraud (DeFi).
According to industry participants, Szabo’s work also provided the groundwork for cryptocurrencies. However, in 2017, he denied being Satoshi Nakamoto.
“Well, you can look at the evolution of ideas before the launch of bitcoin and see who wrote about those ideas,” on December 28, Musk informed artificial intelligence researcher Lex Fridman.

He added that, “It seems as though Nick Szabo is probably, more than anyone else, responsible for the evolution of those ideas.”
Since the publishing of the paper “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System” on a cryptography mailing group in 2008, people have been trying to figure out who Satoshi Nakamoto is. While various people have claimed to be Nakamoto, the identity of this person or persons remains unknown.
Several additional people have been suspected of being Nakamoto or have stated that they are Nakamoto, but no conclusive evidence has been given.
