Bradley Beal could be a Milwaukee or a Miami star by the end of this week. The Washington Wizards are reportedly looking to trade the 29-year-old.

Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks have been linked to Beal. The NBA star has a no-trade clause in his five-year contract, which saw a whopping $251M extension last year and runs through 2027. This means: trading the 29-year-old will not get the Wizards much of a return.

Shams Charania, NBA Insider for Athletic, reported that the Boston Celtics have backed out of the Beal trade. Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks, however, are still interested.

“It is unclear whether the Wizards will ultimately decide upon a rebuild or if they find an acceptable trade, but sources said both side are working amicably to find the path forward, with the 2023 NBA Draft looming on June 22. The sources, who were granted anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter, said the Miami Heat are expected to be prominent suitors for Beal if he reaches the market,” he tweeted.

Bradley Beal seems like a player Miami would want. He is an established high-volume scorer and could partner well with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. The NBA runner-ups could trade Kyle Lowry to the Washington Wizards.

A case for the Bucks: Giannis is a fan of Beal’s play. As per a 2020 report by Brian Windhorst and Kevin Arnovitz with ESPN, he told then-Bucks owner Marc Lasry that the Wizards player was someone he wanted the team to try to add to the roster. This year, the 2020 champions struggled. They are strengthening their offense and Beal is a good addition.
