Chicago Bears placekicker Cairo Santos scored four field goals in the game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday.

Currently, the Bears won the match by 12-10. He made three field goals, the first one being  25 yards, the second one being 39 yards, the third was 55 yards, and the fourth being 30 yards.

Several fans reacted to his field goal on social media. One X user wrote, “The #Bears Offense finally gets points off of a turnover, as Cairo Santos drills 55yd FG. Bears lead by 6, but they should be up a lot more. Leaving the door open for the #Vikings to steal this one.”

“Cairo Santos 9, Vikings 3 is the most NFC North thing ever. Well, tied with 484 other games for the most NFC North (Central) thing ever.” another user wrote.

One fan tweeted, “Cairo Santos is so good man, such a reliable kicker. He’s about to get a fat contract in the offseason”

During his college football time, Santos was recognized for his achievements, being named to the All-Conference USA team three times and winning the conference’s special teams player of the year award in 2012. Notably, he broke the school record for percentage (.821) and number of career field goals attained (58).

Santos joined the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2014. Despite being cut during training camp, he was able to find a home with the Chicago Bears, where he made his NFL debut the same year.

In 2018, he was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, continuing his NFL career. Then, in 2019, 2020, and 2021, Santos played for the Tennessee Titans, the New York Jets, and the Chicago Bears.
