Chris Paul’s ‘fake laugh’ reaction to Steve Kerr is going viral after the Golden State Warriors reportedly acquired the 38-year-old from the Washington Wizards.
The deal will have the Wizards send Paul to Golden State for Jordan Poole, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Washington is also receiving a protected 2030 first-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick.

In 2018, CP3 was with the Houston Rockets. During their Western Conference match-ups against Golden State in the regular season, Paul led his team to a win.

During one timeout, Kerr was seen talking to Chris Paul. The 12-time All-Star seemed to have fake laughed at the Golden State coach’s apparent joke. He did laugh but then he turned away and his face changed – he gave away a serious look. The incident sparked several memes.

In 2020, Paul talked about why he acted that way. He said that there wasn’t anything funny about what Kerr said.
“Why did I fake laugh at Steve Kerr? ‘Cause wasn’t s*** funny,” the newest Warrior said then.

“This video of Chris Paul and Steve Kerr just became 20x funnier,” a social media user tweeted along with the video.
“Steve Kerr won’t be laughing like this when Chris Paul forces him to be a starter alongside Curry,” a second one added.
