A parody account on X, formerly known as Twitter, spoofing Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, seemed to have eerily predicted New York Jets’ QB Aaron Rodgers’ Achilles injury before even Monday Night Football began.

The parody account with the handle @DaddyZaslav was suspended from X after posting a creepily accurate prediction at 6:01 p.m., about two hours before the 8:15 p.m. kickoff on Monday Night Football. “Aaron Rodgers is going to tear his Achilles on a rain-drenched MetLife turf in 2.5 hours,” the account posted.

Sure enough Jets’ MVP was being carted off the field just a few minutes into the team’s season-opening game with the Buffalo Bills. The prediction was viewed over 11 million times after it came true to a large extent. It was taken down sometime on Tuesday.

No reason was provided as to why the parody account was removed from X.

That did not deter social media users from taking a guess as to why the account was removed. “I think he got suspended bc if you looked at his page last night, he went crazy on people’s tweets who were making fun of Rodgers. Telling them to off themselves and such,” one user wrote.

@DaddyZaslav was an apparent Jets fan and he apparently started attacking users on social media after they mocked Rodgers for his early exit.

On Tuesday, a screenshot shared by users showed the Zaslav spoof account told one user to “shut the f—k up,” calling another a “piece of s—t” among other expletives.

Others also tried to come up with how the spoof account’s post could be that precise. “Twitter blue let’s you hide the blue check, and for up to an hour after your tweet you can edit your tweet. That’s exactly what happened here,” another user wrote, though another user replied insisting: “Nope the game hadn’t started.”

The news that Rodgers tore his left Achilles tendon and as a result will be sitting out of the rest of the NFL season was confirmed late Tuesday morning, around 11 a.m. EST.
