UEFA Euro 2020 is set to commence on Friday. 24 national teams across Europe will take part in the tournament. As Euro 2020 promises to unfold yet another exciting tournament, here is a look at the top contenders to win the trophy:

England

England have a strong team on paper, with enough depth in each position. They have one of the youngest sides in Euro 2020. England, despite always having a good team on paper, have struggled to live up to the expectations in major tournaments. They were knocked out by Iceland in Euro 2016. But under Gareth Southgate, they made the semifinals of the FIFA World Cup 2018 and UEFA Nations League 2018-19. And this time, they will look to go all the way.

France

France are the current world champions and also the finalists of Euro 2016. They have a star-studded lineup, who have been consistently selected in the squad over the last few years under Didier Deschamps. They have pace up front in Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Kingsley Coman. The addition of Karim Benzema will boost an already strong forward lineup.
