Singer Janelle Monáe represented team Dwayne in the 2023 Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game at Vivint Arena on Friday. Team Dwayne played against Team Ryan at this much awaited celebrity event of the year.

The long list of celebrity guests and players included the likes of DK Metcalf, Hasan Minaj, Nicky Jam, and Ranveer Singh along with Monae. Monae has recently released her latest music video “Float” ahead of the all stars game. The Basketball Association used the song for its TV coverage during the game.

Janelle Monae appeared at the All Stars Game with “some next level accessories”, wrote GQ sports. Monae also game a pep-talk to Team Dwayne prior to the game. Fans are awestruck by Monae’s savage sporting personality.

Monae stirred the internet with a video related a week ago showing her preparing for the All Stars Game. In the video, the 37-year-old multitalented performer practices hooping on an outdoor basketball court.

Subsequently, she aced the NBA game with her excellent hooping skills and celebratory dance moves in the court. One Twitter user went ahead and said, “Janelle Monae got my vote for Coach of the Year after her halftime speech”.
