Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft scored his career-first touchdown while playing against the Detroit Lions on Thursday.

He scored the touchdown in the first quarter of the game. With this touchdown, the Packers lead the game by 14-6. After deceiving the Lions’ defense with skill, Packers Quarterback Jordan Love connects with Tucker Kraft for his first touchdown of the season.

Tucker Kraft’s sports career started at Timber Lake High School, where he excelled in football, basketball, and track. Tucker Kraft was born on November 3, 2000, in Timber Lake, South Dakota. Kraft was a three-sport star who was recognized all-state in each sport. He excelled especially in football, where he was named to the first team of the state at both linebacker and running back. In track and field, he won two state titles, demonstrating his versatility.

Even though a lot of Division I football programs courted Kraft, he finally decided to play at South Dakota State. As a true freshman, he started all 11 games and made the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) All-Freshman team, which had an instant impact. Throughout his collegiate career, Kraft maintained his impressive form, winning three MVFC All-Conference titles, developing into a top wide receiver, and even making it to the finals of the coveted Jerry Rice Award.

The Green Bay Packers selected Kraft in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He made an immediate impression as a rookie in the professional ranks, displaying his abilities with 27 receptions for 348 yards and three scores. Kraft has also shown himself to be a useful addition to special teams.
