Team India will face the West Indies in a three-match T20I series starting on Wednesday, with the objective of figuring out their lineup in the early rounds of the T20 World Cup in 2022. Kohli had a forgettable ODI series against the West Indies. He scored 8, 18, and 0 runs in the three One-Day Internationals and hopes to make amends in the T20I series. Kohli has been a tad chilly recently, but he will bat at his regular number three spot and will be in the first T20I playing XI.
Kieron Pollard might return as India’s captain in the first T20I against the West Indies. Due to a niggle, the right-handed batter missed the second and third ODIs. Now that he has had some time to heal, he may be able to lead the squad in the first T20I.
