Indian badminton player Jwala Gutta has announced her wedding date in an Instagram post on Tuesday. Gutta is all set to marry her fiance and actor Vishnu Vishal on April 22 in a private ceremony. The couple got engaged in September last year.

“With the blessing of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing the news of our marriage, in a private affair in presence of near & dear – We are getting married. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek blessings as we embark on this journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness,” Gutta’s Instagram post read.
Meanwhile, Vishal also posted the same note on Twitter to make the announcement. “LIFE IS A JOURNEY….EMBRACE IT…HAVE FAITH AND TAKE THE LEAP….Need all your love and support as always…,” he captioned the post with the hashtag ‘#JWALAVISHED’.

The 36-year-old Tamil actor, whose original name is Vishal Kudawla, was previously married to Rajini Natraj, daughter of popular actor K Natraj. The due got divorced in November 2018 after almost eight years of marriage.
Gutta, 37, was also married to fellow badminton player Chetan Anand. The couple tied the knot in July 2005 but got divorced in June 2011. After her split, she rumouredly dated ex-cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, however, this was never confirmed by any of the two.
