“Feels good that we have posted such a good total on a good pitch. It won’t be that easy to defent this total, but if we bowl well, we do have a chance to win this game. I just tried to time the ball well and place it in the gaps. I wasn’t looking forward to getting my century, but I was trying to get as many runs as possible,” Patidar said after the innings.

RCB were 123-4 at the 15-over mark. Patidar and Karthik then smashed 84 runs in the last 30 balls.
