Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz brought out his best as he beat Novak Djokovic to win his first Wimbledon title. Alcaraz won the thrilling five-set final 1-6 7-6(6) 6-1 3-6 6-4. The 20-year-old adds a second major championship to his record after winning the US Open last year, becoming him the third-youngest Wimbledon champion in the Open Era.
Carlos Alcaraz’s current girlfriend is Maria González Giménez, and the two have been dating for a while. The couple is yet to be married. Maria also plays tennis and represents the Murcia Club de Tenis. Although they both kept their relationship a secret, an Instagram story of Alcaraz kissing Maria led some viewers to believe that they were dating.
Alcaraz posted the story on Instagram from the US Open in which he can be seen enjoying a tender moment with Gimenez. In the image, Alcaraz can be seen kissing Gimenez on the cheeks. Alcaraz eventually lifted the US Open to claim his first grand slam victory.

Gimenez is also from Murcia, Spain, like Alcaraz. In an article for NPR News, it was stated that “Carlos Alcaraz was born in El Palmar, Murcia, and the couple is said to have been childhood friends from the same city.” Gimenez’s Instagram profile has several pictures of her on beaches.
Maria has made the decision to keep her career out of the spotlight, much like her love life. The caption of one TikTok video during the Covid-19 pandemic in May 2022 mentioned that she had a civil exam coming up.
She shared the news with a funny “ugly crying” video, sitting on an empty-looking ferry with a pal. Early in March 2022, Maria also uploaded a video of herself in class with friends who were all wearing masks.
