In a message following the surgery, Rodgers expressed his gratitude, saying, “Surgery went exceptionally well yesterday. I want to thank everyone for their outpouring of love, prayers, and support. Special thanks to the esteemed Dr. ElAttrache and his dedicated team for setting me on the path to recovery.”

After a brief attempt to rise and a limping step, he recognized the severity of the injury and decided to sit down.
