Money in the Bank went down at London’s O2 Arena. The event attracted a large number of spectators, none of whom expected John Cena to appear.

Fans in the O2 Arena were startled when John Cena’s music started playing after Cody Rhodes defeated Dominik Mysterio. The 16-time World Champion entered to a thunderous cheer from fans who were in awe of his appearance.

When John Cena took the mic, he expressed his surprise at not hearing “Cena sucks” chants. Then he cut a promo highlighting Money in the Bank as the recent first UK pay-per-view. The query “what the hell took so long?” arose as a result.

John Cena claimed that because London can be a “hostile environment” and even a distraction, “decision makers” are unsure of how to feel about the city. When he said that UK supporters prefer to “take over the show,” there was a loud applause. When asked why UK viewers aren’t trying to take over the show, Cena responded, “You are the show.”

Finally, John Cena explained why he had come to Money in the Bank in the first place. Cena stated that he was present for the UK fans because of how much they care. There is no more exciting crowd, than UK fans, he said. “So, I’m here to try to bring WrestleMania to London,” he added.

Naturally, the thought of WrestleMania coming to London caused the O2 Arena’s roof to collapse. After Cena acknowledged that he “struck a nerve,” he declared that he wants to give London a WrestleMania rather than coming back for just one more match. Following that, Grayson Waller emerged to a roaring heel response. After suggesting that WrestleMania should take place in Australia instead, Waller took an Attitude Adjustment as the segment came to a close.

We’ll have to wait and see if a WrestleMania event comes to London. Philadelphia has already reserved Mania 41. They might, at this stage, be able to schedule the event for 2025 or 2026.
