“I had planned to do everything I wanted to do at that point in my life, spend as much money as I possibly could, and then my plan was to take my own life,” Manziel says in the documentary, according to The Athletic.
He then goes on to say that he bought a gun with the purpose of shooting himself. Surprisingly, Manziel stated that he did pull the trigger, but the rifle malfunctioned.
