Rookie running back Kendre Miller of the New Orleans Saints is not scheduled to play in the team’s season opener against the Tennessee Titans due to a hamstring injury, as reported by NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

This is a setback for Miller, who has been plagued by ailments for much of the past year, dating back to his time at TCU.

Jamaal Williams will most likely start for the Saints against the Titans with Miller out of the scene. Williams is an experienced running back who has been productive in the NFL, but he lacks Miller’s explosiveness. In Miller’s absence, the Saints will also have to rely on Kirk Merritt, a former wide receiver who is transitioning to running back.

Kendre Miller is a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the New Orleans Saints. He attended TCU for his college football career. Miller was selected 71st overall in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
