LSU head coach Kim Mulkey’s outfit at NCAA Women’s Final Four championship was trolled after she arrived at the event wearing a shimmery ensemble of a tiger-printed pantsuit.

Her entrance into the arena did make a lot of heads turn and even during the game was seen not holding back her over-the-top expressions and outbursts.

Here are some of the reactions to her Sunday outfit:

Although Mulkey has almost always drawn strong reactions to her eccentric fashion sense or her behavior, she has never failed to deliver with her stats. Her winning record average is at 0.861 with Mulkey winning 691 games out of her 803. She was also the fastest in NCAA Division I history to guide her team to 600 wins. The animated coach with an affinity for flamboyance has never apologized for her quirky presence. She also believes that people’s perception is flawed.

In an interview with USA Today, she accused LSU alumni of watching her games just to see what outfit she is wearing and how it impacts the TRP for LSU games. “There are LSU women who are graduates, who are famous designers, and they send me jackets and say …  ‘Coach, quite honestly, I don’t know anything about basketball, but I will come just to see what you wear. Well, you know what, I want those that come to the games for that reason to keep coming, and I want them to learn the game of basketball,” she said.

She criticized the perception that had been created about her. “It is a perception out there about me that everybody has that’s so not real. But I’m OK with that because these kids that play for me, the coaches that coach for me, my family that knows me (knows),” she said.

Nevertheless, Mulkey believed that believes that people who came to watch the games, did not pay attention to her attire and genuinely cared about what was going on on the court.
