Green Bay Packers’ star quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Davante Adams posted a picture of Micheal Jordan and Scottie Pippen on their Instagram stories, Friday, leading to speculations about their future with the team and in NFL. The two did not write anything with the picture, leaving the situation up for interpretation.

The picture of basketball and NBA legends Micheal Jordan and Scottie Pippen can be connected to the widely viewed documentary on their last season with the Chicago Bulls ‘The Last Dance’. Fans speculate that this Instagram story could mean Rodgers and Adams will be back in Green Bay for the 2021 season but are likely to leave in 2022.

Another popular interpretation of the post is that the two have had their last dance together and Rodgers is preparing to announce his retirement.

NFL star Aaron Rodgers has on numerous instances projected his dissatisfaction with the current Packers’ side. Davante Adams has also reportedly broken off all contract talks with the team management. He is in the final season of his Green Bay contract.

In June Adams said he won’t hold out because he doesn’t want to get fined, so there’s no concern about whether he’ll get to work this year. But this could be his last year in Green Bay.

According to Bob McGinn of TheAthletic.com, Aaron Rodgers had referred to Green Bay Packers’ manager as Jerry Krause. The quarterback wants the GM fired, McGinn had said. Krause, a former Chicago Bulls coach, was portrayed in a negative light in the ‘Last Dance’.

However, there is no official word on the future of Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. The two have played for the Packers from 2005 and 2014 respectively.
