The first half of the match ended with both teams tied with two goals. Lionel Messi scored one in the third minute which gave the French side an early lead. The Riyadh 11 scored next, thanks to a penalty by the Portuguese superstar and then he followed it up with another perfect poacher’s goal from inside the box.
PSG then equalized again from a corner that was headed home by the Marquinhos, the Brazilian center-back.
As soon as the second half started, a flurry of goals followed for both sides. PSG opened the scoring with a goal from the former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos who incredibly finished like a classical number nine after Kylian Mbappe dribbled and put forth a quick cross inside Riyadh All-Star 11’s box.
However, that lead lasted for only a few minutes after the South Korean player Soo Jan. However, the match remained in balance for a little longer till a penalty was given to PSG, which was calmly put into the goal by Mbappe.
Much of the shine in the contest wore off as a set of substitutions on both sides saw both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi leave the pitch. Achraf Hakimi and Keylor Nevas were also taken off by the PSG manager, making the match a somewhat even contest.
