Cameron Dantzler, the cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings, paid a tribute to slain rapper Takeoff before their week 9 game against the Washington Commanders. Dantzler wore a shirt with Takeoff’s name and picture on it, along with the writing “1994-2022”, which is the span of the former Migos’ member’s lifetime.

RIP TAKEOFF.” He also sent out another tweet where he encouraged today’s youth to choose boxing gloves to settle their differences. His post read, “To all the youth…put down the guns and pick up some boxing gloves to settle your differences. Violence is not the answer.”

Darrelle Revis, the former Super Bowl champion, also expressed his concerns on Twitter: “Our legends are being taken away too soon. A big supporter of Migos. It’s just not good to wake up to news like this. @1YoungTakeoff @QuavoStuntin”.
