Brock Purdy, the last pick of NFL 2022 draft, was all hyped after scoring his first career touchdown on Sunday. The quarterback came in after San Francisco 49ers’ starter Jimmy Garoppolo was out with injury against the Miami Dolphins.

A native of Queen Creek, Arizona, Brock Purdy began his high school career for Perry high school. Purdy then began his college career in 2018 at Iowa state and became the starter after Kyle Kempt was injured and Noland was ineffective. He continued in 2019 also as the starter.

With the 262nd and the final pick in the 2022 NFL draft, he became the year’s Mr Irrelavant. Later that season, he relieved senior quarterback Jimmy Garropolo in the clash over Kansas City Chiefs. He also became the first Mr Irrelevant to throw to touchdown passes in the regular season.

The San Francisco 49ers take on Miami Dolphins at the Levi’s stadium at home on Sunday. The 49ers lead the NFC west division and a win will only help extending their lead over Seattle Seahawks.
The Miami Dolphins are situated second in the AFC East division behind Buffalo Bills and are also in need of a win.
While the 49ers will surely miss the services of Jimmy Garropolo, the impressive performance of Brock Purdy has proven that youngsters are ready to wear the shoes of their time tested seniors and prove their mettle with respectable performances.

Thanks to the performance of Purdy and others, the 49ers lead with a score line of 17-10 and are favorites to win the match.
