Mac Jones, quarterback for the New England Patriots, was frustrated with coach Mat Patricia. The 24-year-old dropped the F-bomb during the third quarter of the Monday Night game against the Arizona Cardinals.
“F–k,” Jones was heard saying during the third quarter of the Week 15 tie.
Watch:
Mac Jones, who is amongst the several quarterbacks that succeeded Tom Brady at New England, seemed unhappy with the team’s offensive strategy. After Patricia, the offensive coordinator, called for a break, the QB was seen ignoring him completely. He also dropped the F-bomb.
Ahead of the game, Jones had a chat with ESPN’s sideline reporter Lisa Salters. When asked about his relationship with Patricia, the 24-year-old said they were in a good place.
“Jones said it’s all about being on the same page, and that he and his play-caller have had a lot of conversations about that this week — conversations he said they needed to have,” Salters said.
“And while he said there definitely have been growing pains this season, Jones said now feels like a good time to turn the corner.”
Last week, after New England’s loss vs the Buffalo Bills, Jones was seen screaming and cursing about the play-calling.
