Mac Jones, quarterback for the New England Patriots, was frustrated with coach Mat Patricia. The 24-year-old dropped the F-bomb during the third quarter of the Monday Night game against the Arizona Cardinals.

“F–k,” Jones was heard saying during the third quarter of the Week 15 tie.

Mac Jones, who is amongst the several quarterbacks that succeeded Tom Brady at New England, seemed unhappy with the team’s offensive strategy. After Patricia, the offensive coordinator, called for a break, the QB was seen ignoring him completely. He also dropped the F-bomb. 

Ahead of the game, Jones had a chat with ESPN’s sideline reporter Lisa Salters. When asked about his relationship with Patricia, the 24-year-old said they were in a good place.

“Jones said it’s all about being on the same page, and that he and his play-caller have had a lot of conversations about that this week — conversations he said they needed to have,” Salters said.

“And while he said there definitely have been growing pains this season, Jones said now feels like a good time to turn the corner.”

Last week, after New England’s loss vs the Buffalo Bills, Jones was seen screaming and cursing about the play-calling.

Arizona led New England 13-10 after the first half. Colt McCoy and co outgained Jones’ men 197-151. They had a 133-113 advantage in passing yardage and a 64-38 lead in rushing yards.

Colt McCoy went 14-for-20 for 129 yard. Mac Jones was 14-for-21 for 123 yards, with an interception.

Cardinals’ starting quarterback Kyler Murray exited the game after sustaining a knee injury in the first few minutes. He made one pass.
