Running-back Le’Veon Bell was the difference-maker for the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday in their NFL game against the Minnesota Vikings. The 29-year-old scored a 1-yard touchdown with a little over three minutes remaining in the final quarter of the game.

Bell’s touchdown helped Baltimore Ravens defeat the Vikings with a score of 34-31.

Fans hailed the RB’s performance in Sunday’s game as key for the Ravens to get their sixth win of the season. Bell’s stats indicate he had 11 carries and rushed for 48 yards.

Bell, who was signed by the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad earlier this year in September, was activated against Denver Broncos in week 4 and Los Angeles Chargers in week 6 of the current season.

The 29-year-old’s has been bittersweet so far. While he has only made the roster cut thrice this season, Bell has made the most out of his limited chances.

Bell rushed for 11 yards on four carries against the Broncos in week 4 and improved his stats in the following appearance against Chargers, rushing for 18 yards on eight carries as well as scoring his first touchdown as a Ravens RB.

Bell’s performance in Sunday’s game was loved by Ravens fans. One social media user wrote, “Ravens have worn down this Vikings defense as the run game took over: Le’Veon Bell, Devonata Freeman and Lamar Jackson are consistently picked up chunks of yards on each attempt. That’s the Ravens offense we know and love in 4QTR.”

On the other hand, some loved the rough game played between the Ravens and Vikings. A Twitter user wrote during the match, “That’s some smash-mouth football right there!! Ravens original. Long last drive and now just punishing a tired defense with a great set of runs. Le’Veon Bell scores and Baltimore takes the lead. 31-24, with 3:29 to go. Amazing!.”
