British TV host Piers Morgan has been trashed by England fans for a tweet before the Three Lions’ clash against Senegal in the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup in which he said, “England look nervous, Senegal look dangerous, and Kane looks sluggish”.
England turned out to be the dominant side in the match as they scored three past the Kaildou Koulibaly-led side to qualify for the quarterfinals of the World Cup. Jordan Henderson opened their account in the match, followed by captain Harry Kane and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka.

Morgan has showered praises on Jude Bellingham for the latter’s performance in the match, saying, “Only 19.. but already looks a world class footballer on the ultimate world stage. Take a bow, @BellinghamJude”.
Gareth Southgate’s decision of adding Jordan Henderson to the lineup proved to be beneficial for England as the Liverpool captain scored the first goal of the match. England will now have to face defending champions France in the quarterfinal. It will be a tough challenge for them to control Kylian Mbappe, who has already scored five goals in the ongoing tournament.
