The referee for Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns, Jerome Boger, was trolled on social media for biased decisions in favour of Joe Burrow and co. The two sides locked horns at the Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday.
“Best players for the Bengals thus far (ranked):
1. Tony Fields
2. Jerome Boger
3. Joe Burrow,” a Twitter user said.
“Jerome Boger’s crew is calling this game so I’m not surprised by all these terrible calls,” another one added.
“I forgot who Jerome Boger played for. #CLEvsCIN,” a third one said.
The Cleaveland Browns and their fans had good reason to be frustrated as despite a 0-0 scoreline after the first quarter, they had to face a difficult second one where the home side outscored them 13-3.
