Biniam Girmay of Intermarche-Circus-Wanty, Kevin Vermaerke of Team dsm-firmenich, Egan Bernal of Ineos Grenadiers, and Pascal Eenkhoorn of Lotto-Dstny were among the other cyclists involved in the collision.

Additionally, Jumbo-Visma’s Nathan Van Hooydonck needed some time to recover but was eventually able to carry on.
