Team India captain Rohit Sharma lost the toss against Bangladesh in T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 game on Wednesday, November 2, at Adelaide Oval. Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan decided to bowl first.

This is India’s fourth T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 match. The Men in Blue have registered wins against Pakistan and Netherlands, however, lost against South Africa in their last match on Sunday, October 30.

“Don’t know what the best score is on this pitch,” Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan said after winning the toss.

“Know what’s coming at us, we’re well prepared. Boys gelling well together, everyone looking forward to this. Need to continue doing good things. Batting is one area we can improve. Our fast bowling terrific,” he added.

Bangladesh has made one change in their starting XI against India. The Tigers have replaced Soumya Sarkar with Shoriful Islam, meaning that Bangladesh is playing one extra pacer against the Men in Blue in the match.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma said that he would have liked to bat first against Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 match in Adelaide on Wednesday. 

On the other hand, India has also made one change going into the match. The Men in Blue have replaced Deepak Hooda with Axar Patel against Bangladesh.

Both India and Bangladesh have won two matches and lost one each. Both teams currently have four points and will look forward to a win to climb to the top of the table in Group 2.
