Team USA endured another disappointing day in the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday as the team managed to win just two gold medals. China still leads the pack on the medal tally with 21 gold medals, 5 more than the USA’s 16, while hosts Japan are second with 17 golds. 

The nation will hope that Day 10 brings better news from the Japanese capital with the Olympics entering a decisive phase.

Justin Thomas will tee off the American campaign on day 10 as he continues his Olympic dream in the men’s individual golf round 4.

The women’s 4x100m medley relay final in swimming will see the USA team in contention whereas Caleb Dressel will contest in the Men’s 50m freestyle final

Raven Saunders will contest the women’s shot put final whereas Shelby McEwen will take the field in the men’s high jump final.

In diving, the US will be represented by Hailey Hernandez in the women’s 3m springboard final.

Perris Benegas will be in contention in the women’s BMX freestyle park final. J Dowell and N Bruce will try to win a medal in the men’s final.

M Skinner will try and get to the top of the podium in the women’s vault final in Gymnastics.

Other than that, American athletes will be in contention in many other sports like fencing, beach volleyball, boxing, and much more.
