The New York Jets are considering the addition of veteran quarterback Trevor Siemian to their roster. However, it’s crucial to clarify that this move is not intended to replace Zach Wilson as the team’s starting quarterback in the immediate future.

According to an insider, Trevor Siemian is scheduled to visit the Jets on Tuesday. If the visit goes smoothly, and he successfully passes a physical examination, the team plans to sign him to the practice squad. This would mark Siemian’s second stint with the Jets, as he previously played for the team in 2019. Unfortunately, his time with the Jets during that season was cut short due to an ankle injury he suffered during a game against the Browns on “Monday Night Football.”
