Bolt has often expressed his admiration for Manchester United and its players, especially Cristiano Ronaldo, who he considers a role model and a friend. He has also visited Old Trafford several times, where he has met some of his idols and even played a charity match in 2012.

He once said that watching the team play helps him relax and focus before his races. He also revealed that he listens to the club’s anthem, “Glory Glory Man United”, before every competition.

Bolt’s dream is to play for Manchester United someday, even if it is just for a few minutes. He has repeatedly asked for a trial with the club, but so far he has not been given a chance. He was so desperate that at one point he also phoned Sir Alex Fergusson to give him a chance.

In 2018, Bolt joined the Australian club Central Coast Mariners as a trialist, hoping to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a professional footballer. He made his debut in a friendly match against a local amateur team, scoring two goals and impressing the fans.

However, his stint with the Mariners was short-lived, as he failed to agree on a contract with the club. He also received an offer from Maltese club Valletta FC, but he turned it down. Bolt announced his retirement from football in January 2019, saying that he had given it his best shot.
